Local

Gulf Coast Health Information Management Association (GCHIMA), encompasses Citrus, Dixie, Hillsborough, Levy, Hernando, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Sumter, and Polk Counties

The meetings of the Association shall be held bimonthly on the third (3rd) Wednesday of the months of January, March, May, July, September and November.  When the FHIMA State Meeting or the AHIMA National Convention falls in the same month as the above stated GCHIMA monthly meeting, the GCHIMA meeting may be cancelled.  This may be done at the discretion of the President and Program Chairman, however, there shall be no fewer than five (5) meetings per year.
