Message June 2007
The new
membership year 2007-2008 has started off very well with our
May Symposium bringing engaging speakers and a nice turn out.
The May business meeting yielded some very welcome suggestions
for presentation topics and expectations for this membership
year and I thank those members for sharing their information.
We are
coming upon the annual FHIMA convention in Orlando June 25th
– June 28th and encourage all that have the
opportunity to attend to do so, your support is important and
in your best interest. Your delegates are attending the HOD to
give you voice…..to convey to our leaders your needs…..your
opinions…..your choices about your profession. Please let us
know how you feel regarding the issues to be discussed – we
are available to you and want to hear from you.
The July 18th
meeting is being held at the Florida Blood Services corporate
building in Pinellas and we invite you to join us.
I look
forward to seeing you at the FHIMA convention in June and
again at the July meeting. My best to you all!
