President’s Message January 2008

The new year is upon us and as I look back I can’t help but think “where did the last year go?” Membership for 2007-2008 was strong, the FHIMA convention was a success in a new venue and the FHIMA leadership conference was stimulating. Our FHIMA President, Stacie L. Buck, RHIA, CCS-P, LHRM, RCC, CIC will be speaking at our January 16th meeting and I encourage everyone to attend, this lady is phenomenal at motivating others!

As we approach the January meeting, please think of the colleagues you feel would lead and inspire this membership to nominate for your 2008-2009 officers. This year the open offices are President-Elect and Treasurer.

I look forward to seeing you at the January 16th meeting at Florida Blood Services in St. Petersburg. My best to you all!
